About Meethay
A cross-border sweet story
We set out to bring one of Nepal’s most-loved sweets to more tables — freshly made, beautifully packed, and delivered with care across India and Nepal.
Why we started
Pustakari has always been the sweet people carry across borders — a taste of home tucked into a suitcase. We asked a simple question: what if you could order that taste, fresh, to your door? Meethay is our answer — a modern brand built on a traditional recipe, crafted in Delhi for India and Itahari for Nepal.
We start small and honest: a few perfected sweets, made well, delivered reliably — and a growing range to come.
What we stand for
Authenticity first
A real Nepali recipe, made the traditional way — not a shortcut version.
Small-batch craft
Freshly handmade daily in both kitchens, never mass-produced.
Honest ingredients
Khuwa, jaggery, ghee, nuts. Nothing artificial. Nothing to hide.
One brand, two homes
Locally run in India and Nepal, held to one shared standard.
How Meethay began
It started with an empty box and a big question
While working in India, I went home to Nepal for a break. On my way back, I carried some Pustakari for my colleagues — just a small treat from home.
They had never tasted anything like it. Within minutes the box was empty, and they asked: “Do you have more? This is delicious!” I didn’t. And in that moment an idea was born.
If people loved it this much on the first bite, why was there no proper way to buy it? That question became Meethay — a promise to make Pustakari beautifully, hygienically, and bring it to everyone, on both sides of the border.

An independent brand, built to last
Meethay is run independently in India and Nepal, with a shared promise of quality and hygiene. Our technology is quietly powered by Lacspace — so we can focus on making great sweets.
